Make sure that you select and arrange Boards that represent your business brand. Take a look Connie Ryan’s Enchanting Occasions Board to the right. You don’t even have to read the text descriptions to know what this business is all about — weddings and romance! Create a variety of Boards:
Infographic Boards — Pinners love infographics. They add value and credibility to your brand. Here’s a tool that helps you create infographics: www.infogr.am Melanie Duncan called it her “secret resource” at #SMMW13. Studies have found that taller images get more repins than short images.
Checklist Boards — Everyone loves checklists and they are easy to create. For example, at Online Biz Smarts we have checklists for each of the major social platforms. Arrange your checklists in a visually pleasing way and create your Checklist Board.
Tutorial or How To Boards — You know all of those how to posts and videos you have been creating? Collect them all on one board!
Company Story — Tell your company history through images.
Customer Testimonials — Create a Pin for each customer testimonial, including photo of customer and quotes, and put them all together on one Board!
Product Boards — Create a Board for each of your products or services and put images on that provide context (ways to use product for ex.).
Video Boards — Have one Board for all of your videos. Check tomorrow’s blog for a tip on how to put the best image on your video to attract clicks to the video on your website.
Tomorrow’s blog will be on Pinterest Tips, including how to rearrange the Boards on your site. Meanwhile, are there Pin Boards that you have created that I haven’t listed? Please comment!
